Sandy Shore Motel

Being right on the beach was our priority and the beach was gorgeous. Electricity issues so no coffee or hair dryer in the room. Kitchen suites do have coffee makers. The room was very clean and recent renovation is lovely. Bed comfortable. We were very happy to have the fridge. Coffee and breakfast food very close by. Bring chairs to sit on the outside porch. Wood and hopefully will stay here again. Having the beach bar is an extra plus with music all day.

Great Rooms, Great Location, Great Staff! If you’re looking for a reasonably priced hotel on the beach, this is the spot! No-frills, Just a great location with great rooms, walking distance to restaurants bars, and stores on the strip.. If you want a pool, frills and lots of extra amenities, go down the road and pay $500 a night. :)

Room was out dated, clean enough. Needs the mold cleaned off celling. Ok view was great bar was nice. Enjoyed an over night stay

The location couldn’t be better right on Misquamicut Beach, just steps from the sand. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching both sunrise and sunset from the room was incredible. The place is simple but very clean and comfortable, exactly what you need for a beach getaway. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the beach bar added a fun, laid-back vibe. If you’re looking for an easy, relaxing stay with unbeatable beach access, this motel is a great choice.

The rooms were really cute and clean. The shower is really nice. The location is great. The people are friendly. The bar is super fun. But there is no coffee pot or microwave and the beds are very firm. It’s perfect for a weekend away but maybe not for a longer trip. The music is playing loudly until almost midnight each night so I wouldn’t bring kids here.

Arrived on Monday, 9/8. Kayla, at the front desk was friendly, super helpful and accommodating. Staff was also friendly. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the bar on an outside deck on the beach with music, bar seating and plenty of Adirondack style chairs. Bar area was clean, nice atmosphere and a friendly bartender, Gloriana. On the days we were there, we suspect because of the liquor, we experienced quite a few yellow jackets around the seating area and the bar. We did notice hanging insect bag traps that seemed to be catching the bees but also noticed some bees made their way into liquor bottles left open in the bar area, yuk.

Simply impeccable! I spent two days at the hotel and was enchanted by every detail. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed; the entire staff was attentive, and Gino was friendly and genuinely concerned about providing a welcoming experience. The room was extremely comfortable, clean, and quiet, with a large, soft bed and a picture-perfect ocean view. The decor was tasteful, the atmosphere was light, and everything worked perfectly, from the shower to the air conditioning. The beach bar was one of the highlights: good music, a variety of drinks and food, a relaxed atmosphere, and the entire staff was so cheerful. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. It was only two days, but I felt renewed. It's a place I want to return to, and I certainly will. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you, Gino and your entire team.

Rooms are typical for a beachfront hotel. They advertise “private beach” but it’s not. There is also an outside bar right out front of the rooms with music going until 1:00. We were there during the week so it wasn’t too bad but I can imagine the weekends could get loud. The hotel manager and all of the staff were great!
